In a society where theoretically anything seems possible, we often experience frustration because what is presented as beautiful and attainable turns out to be difficult to achieve. This applies not only to material things but also to how we look and how we feel. We are constantly planning and longing for the future, searching for ways to achieve our goals without truly enjoying the moment that is happening now.
At the same time, we are often pulled back by the past, where we dwell on frustrations or questions about what we did wrong or what didn’t go as planned. This constant presence of our thoughts in the past prevents us from seeing the beauty of the present moment.
However, the now is the only moment that truly counts. It is the moment to enjoy, live, and experience. Although the present is not always perfect or beautiful, mindfulness teaches us to accept what is. By living in the now, we can more consciously enjoy the small and beautiful moments each day offers, even when life is not always easy.
Mindfulness can help you enjoy each day more but also deal with and overcome problems. It is a skill you can learn, enabling you to be present in the current moment so that you are no longer driven by the past or the future.
